Very pretty, but I knew what to expectSo I read lots of reviews on other sites about this rug so I knew ahead of time that it does have a slight purple hue to it because it s the color they used to give the vintage feel and also a blue-ish gray feel, but the purple is only noticeable if you are very up close and nit-picking. Overall the rug is very pretty and gives the vintage feel I was looking for. Alone I wouldn t call it a very blue hue but when placed with other light blue decor, the color does come out more. View my pics to see how it does change color based on how the fibers are facing. That does bother some people to see track marks but it s really no big deal to me. The rug does have a slight sheen to it that I haven t seen in other rugs before. I like it a lot and will be purchasing the smaller one for the other side of my room.
